Siliguri Tea Traders Association – 3 trucks food material handed over to BSF for flood victims

Siliguri Tea Traders Association

North Bengal is badly affected due to rains and lacks of people are homeless. The members to Siliguri Tea Traders Association came forward to help the people affected by flood. BSF is doing rescue work and providing with the needs of the those people.

Uttar Dinajpur, Dakshin Dinajpur, adjoining areas of Bihar and Bhutan are areas where farmers lost their harvest and lacks of people have became homeless.

Following material handed over to Shri Rajesh Misra, IG, BSF & his team members for distribution among-st the people affected –

  • Mineral water bottle 1lt each 3240pcs.
  • Mudi 200gm each packet – 8850pkts.
  • Chidwa 500gm each – 4000pkts.
  • Gud – 200gm each – 2000piecs
  • Britannia Tiger Biscuits – 4000pkts.


President Sri Nandlal Agarwal, Secretary Sri Ankit Lochan, senior members Sri Sampatmal Sancheti, Sri Rajiv Jain, Sri Anil Tiwari, Sri Binod Agarwal, Sri Amit Agarwal, Sri Navneet Jain, Sri Harish Agarwal, Sri Hemnarayan Prasad, Sri Ankur Jain, Sri Swaym Poddar etc. Members coordinated the program very well & handed over the material after proper packing. The President assured that, if there be more need, our Association will come forward to dispatch more material like today. The Three trucks were loaded.
