Siliguri: The Leader of Opposition of Rajya Sabha, Sri Gulam Nabi Azad landed at Bagdogra Airport on the 5th of Sept to review the situation of the flood affected ares of Arharia and Kishanganj. He left for the flood affected areas immediately After landing at the Bagdogra Airport and spend the night at the Kishanganj Circuit House. After having completed his Visit he the flew back to Delhi from Bagdogra Airport at 1800 hrs on 6th Sept’17. before leaving Sri Azad met the prominent leaders of the region, including MLA of Matigara and Naxalbari, Sri Shankar Malakar and The Secretary of The Indian national Congress(INC) Party for Jalpaiguri Dist., Mr. Rohit Singh Sasodia. Mr. Sasodia said that Sri Gulam Navi Azad was very concerned about situation on the ground. He also mentioned that Sri Azad stressed for a better performance in the upcoming elections by forming new committees which are more efficient and dedicated to the needs of the common man.
