Yogi Adityanath offers prayers at makeshift Ram temple in Ayodhya

Adityanath began his visit by offering prayers at the Hanuman garhi Temple in Ayodhya.

AYODHYA: UP CM Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday, offered prayers at the makeshift temple in the Ram Janambhoomi-Babri Masjid complex, here on his first visit to the town after taking charge offered payers on the banks of the Saryu River, and there he spent around 30 minutes.
Adityanath began his visit by offering prayers at the Hanuman garhi Temple in Ayodhya.
And said that on the pattern of Banaras, aarti will also be organized on the Sarayu coast in Ayodhya.
Following the worship of Ramlala, the Chief Minister also instructed the officers to organize the Saryu Festival after performing worshiping on the Sarayu coast.
He directed the Principal Secretary Tourism to expedite the beautification and expansion of the Saray coast. Apart from this, the Chief Minister has also instructed for the extension of Ram’s pad.
As Yogi Adityanath is the first Chief Minister after 2002 to visit Ramlala in Ayodhya. Before this, Rajnath Singh had appeared in Ramlal to the Chief Minister in 2002. After that, no Chief Minister has seen Ramlala in Ayodhya for 15 years.
The visit assumes significance as it comes a day after criminal conspiracy charges were framed against top BJP leaders in the Babri mosque demolition case.
He was accompanied by Dharam Das, against whom conspiracy charges were framed yesterday along with the other BJP leaders.
A special CBI court in Lucknow had yesterday framed charges against BJP veterans L K Advani, M M Joshi, Union minister Uma Bharti and nine others in the 1992 Babri mosque demolition case.
Before Advani reached the court, Adityanath had met him at the VVIP guest house in Lucknow.
The Chief Minister will also visit the Digambar Akhara during his visit, where he will be involved in the birthday celebrations of Mahant Nrityogopaldas.
